first check up

This week we observed our microaquariums. the very first thing i did was drop the food down in the water. i then observed my aquarium under the microscope. i saw more movement in the soil. my plants did not change much at all as far as i could tell. the main organisms i saw were a type of round worm that wiggled around a whole lot, the cyclops which also had a lot of movement, a snail looking organism that moved a little, and a spirogyro euglena that moved very little (Freshwater Biology). they all seemed to like being close to the bottom.

first day

today we started our microaquarium. we put our designated stickers on our containers first. then we filled it with the water we chose, mine was number ten, and the two plants assigned to us. lastly, we observed the plants and organisms underneath a microscope.
